While it was Rob’s tennis career that brought him to the Island in 1974 as a tennis pro for Sea Pines, it was his love of the Lowcountry that kept him here. While a lot has changed since then, Rob has never lost his enthusiasm for the Island that he, Jody and his four children have called home. His passion for coaching, involvement with kids’ extracurricular activities, leadership roles on the island and wide ranging success in the real estate business have allowed him to give back to the community on a number of different levels. PERSONAL

Jody and I live in Spanish Wells Plantation.  John David works at Home Instead in Charlotte.  Andrew, Lisa, and their 4-year-old son Robert and 1-year-old daughter Rosie live in Belmont;  Morgan, John, and their 3 kids, 7-year-old son Cooper, 5-year-old daughter Lenox and daughter Logan who is 4 all live in Davidson while Jeffrey is an Advertising and Marketing Executive in Savannah.  In addition, I am on the Board of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and am currently an Elder at Hilton Head Presbyterian Church.  Jody is an inspirational writer and speaker who is the author of “Still Before the Dawn”.

EDUCATION

I grew up in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and went to Haverford School.  Graduated from Dickinson College, with a B.A. in English and Education.  Played NCAA tennis and soccer throughout college.

TENNIS CAREER

Moved to Hilton Head in 1974 to become a Tennis Professional at Sea Pines.  In 1977 became Director of  Tennis at Shipyard Racquet Club and in 1981 helped design and build Port Royal Racquet Club and Wexford.  Was Tournament     Director for WCT and World Couple professional tournaments.  Became Director of   Tennis for Sea Pines, Shipyard, Port Royal, and Wexford in 1985.

REAL ESTATE CAREER

In 1987 I joined Sea Pines Real Estate and became their #1 Sales Agent within two years.  I am an Active Life Member of the Realtor Distinguished Sales Award and am a Partner/Owner of Sea Pines Real Estate at the Beach Club.  With total sales for 2019 - 2020 of over $60 million, I have consistently been one of the Top 10 Realtors throughout the Lowcountry. I specialize in the ocean and deep water markets as well as new home construction. Doesn’t it make sense to have a Top Realtor working for you? I am a member of the Multiple Listing Service and can sell and list any property in any area on or off the island!
